Charles and Ray Eames obviously had a love of giant numbers! As you can see from the images of their studio above. Wouldn’t mind something like that in my room.
These images were the inspiration behind the Poster Numerals of the Eames typeface from House Industries;
“In a nod to Charles and Ray’s infatuation with circus imagery, we penned these elephantine figure fonts whose woodcut-inspired forms leave a tastefully pachydermic impact.”
