I went to Aarhus with my family a few weeks ago to check out the Tal R exhibition (which was great!). I took a bunch of photos (mostly of the Rainbow Panorama by Olafur Eliasson, which is still one of the best things I have ever seen). Check out the rest of the photos on exposure or flickr.

Considering moving to Aarhus just so I can hang out in this rainbow more often…
Olafur Eliasson has also made a couple of other installations at Aros playing around with lights and colours. But they are only temporary. One of them is called “Your atmospheric colour atlas”. This is a room filled with some kind of fog/smoke, which is lit up with fluorescent lights in different colours that mixes up as you walk around in the room. It was actually really claustrophobic to walk around in there as you could barely see three feet forward, but you could hear the people surrounding you very clearly. In the third photo my dad is standing about 3 feet away from me, and you almost can’t see him. The second one is very clear, but that’s only because of the flash from my camera. It was very fascinating and very very creepy at the same time. I’m kinda proud that I didn’t bump into anyone. My dad walked into the wall though… and I almost didn’t laugh.
I went to see Olafur Eliasson’s Rainbow Panorama at Aros Museum in Aarhus on my way home from Rønbjerg yesterday. It was amazing! If you are ever in Aarhus you have to go see this!
