I was at the best concert I have ever been to last night. The William Blakes kicks ass when playing live. It was almost one long jam session and they had invited all their insanely skilled music pals - a swedish/danish folk music trio, funky klezmer dudes from Mames Babegenush, two badass (!) harmonica players, Jens Haack the amazing saxofonist, a handfull of amazing singers (Shaka Loveless, Lasse Bomann, Michael Møller, Søren Huss, Cæcilie Trier, Jannis Noya from Choir of Young Believers) and many many more. I was blooown away! I wish they’d make a live record. Oh, and it was on “Fastelavn” (which is like Halloween in Denmark) so everybody was dressed up.
